Reflective Practice

Foundations

of

the opportunity

Come join us in a welcoming and introductory setting to develop equity-centered reflective practice facilitation (RPF) skills through deepening our understanding of awareness, presence, connection, and vision in our work. As a learning community, we will go through 6 sessions all together, with additional small-group reflective sessions for deeper dive into participants’ real-life experiences working with children and families.

All training hours may count towards Infant Mental Health Endorsement requirements in your State.

JOIN US IN LEARNING ABOUT:

Introduction to Reflective Practice

Understanding concepts of reflective practice and reflective practice facilitation, as well as an orientation to the equity-centered framework used for this series.

Awareness

Understanding the importance of critical self-reflection, intersectionality, and culture, while holding in mind the impact of systemic inequities on our selves and others.

Presence

Reflecting on the privilege of rest in our culture and its impact on our ability to experience connection to our work and move from burnout to liberation. We will examine current systems and begin to redefine productivity towards practice change.

Connection

Deepening the relationships we have with our supervisees, reflect on the power of the parallel process, and transform how we connect with others.

Vision

Opening possibilities and supporting our supervisees to explore strengths and redefine challenges in relationships.

Transformational Reflective Practice Facilitation

Integrating concepts learned into practice with practice change in mind. Participants will deepen their understanding of reflective practice and support that facilitative process.
